The Breedekloof District

Known for its distinctive Pinotage, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Shiraz,  The Breedekloof wine region is home to South Africa’s picturesque mountains and vineyards. The deep, black soil of the mountains and the sandy, shale soil of the riverbanks allow for the perfect conditions to create dry whites and flavorful reds. One of the largest wine regions in South Africa, the Breedekloof district is fast growing with award winning reds, whites, and sweet dessert wines and is becoming a hotspot for wine tourism

The Stellenbosh District

Stellenbosh, South Africa’s most famous wine producing region, is home to granite and sandstone soil perfect for the region’s subtle red wine grapes. The center of wine tourism, Stellenbosch is known for producing distinct wines with its own regional features.
The birthplace of Pinotage (a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut), Stellenbosch is also known for its high quality whites: Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, and Chenin Blanc.
